We are offering a short term contract to hire employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in Arlington, Texas. The role involves working in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for various accounting functions such as account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and handling general ledger entries.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the account reconciliation process to ensure accuracy and compliance

• Conducting balance sheet reconciliations on a regular basis

• Handling bank reconciliations to validate our financial records

• Ensuring the accuracy of the general ledger by reviewing and correcting any discrepancies

• Creating and posting journal entries to the general ledger as required

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting purposes

• Assisting with the month-end close process to ensure timely financial reporting

• Working with NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP accounting software for various accounting tasks.

Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is necessary for the role of Sr. Accountant.

• Experience in Balance Sheet Reconciliation is a mandatory requirement.

• The candidate must be adept at performing Bank Reconciliations.

• A strong understanding of General Ledger management is essential.

• The ability to accurately prepare and review Journal Entries is required.

• The candidate must be proficient in using Microsoft Excel for accounting purposes.

• Experience in managing Month End Close activities is crucial.

• Proficiency in using NetSuite for accounting functions is expected.

• Knowledge and experience in working with Oracle financial software is necessary.

• Familiarity with SAP financial software is a significant advantage for this role.
