What you will do-

The Organizational Change Management team within IT is responsible for contributing to the overall change management strategy and leading the overall change management approach and communications for an identified region and key stakeholders. The manager will collaborate with the IT leaders to understand stakeholders and impacts, plan and deliver OCM plans for key priority programs and build OCM competency within the functional area.

Additional responsibilities:

Organization Change Management:

  • Drive the creation and execution of the Change Management planning for each release ensuring an aligned and cohesive approach

  • Drive alignment to the IT OCM playbook in regards to overall change strategy, tools and methodology including creating or revised these as needed

  • Lead OCM efforts to IT initiatives and programs within GQO

  • Collaborate with business owners and process SMEs to identify and document change impacts (business process, end user, and/or organizational impacts).

  • Assess the degree of impact, the scope of people impacted, and to define People mitigation plans accordingly.

  • Define, drive, and track all People/Change mitigation actions to closure for IT and programs

  • Identify change barriers for programs. Identify mitigation actions (e.g., lack of employee engagement, communication needs, organizational history, culture considerations, unfavorable program perceptions, and tangential projects), key stakeholders and influencers in the business by leading a stakeholder assessment.

  • Ensure that business owners/ key program partners are aware of these findings and aligned.

  • Drive leadership alignment between the program and within the businesses impacted

  • Lead organizational change readiness evaluation (via surveys or focus groups, for example), taking the timeline of key program activities and Go/No-Go decisions into consideration. This should be conducted in coordination with the Deployment Lead and direct reports.

  • Measure adoption of key changes.

  • Lead the creation, maintenance, and execution of the deployment-specific communication plan in partnership with overall program communication plan that promotes end user and stakeholder buy-in

  • Identify key stakeholders, execute support analysis and provide feedback to the deployment and program teams.

Organizational Development:

  • Work closely and collaboratively with the IT Organizational Development (OD) partners to drive critical development elements of the OD strategy irrespective region(s)

  • Lead assigned training projects, manage workflow(s), and create general project timelines

  • Drive innovative learning methods and solutions to address IT development needs and deliver organizational development programs for assigned functions and/or projects

Communication:

  • Work closely with the IT Communications team to ensure alignment and support around OCM activities – this includes drafting communication strategies, approaches, plans, etc.

  • Develop key messages around upcoming changes

What You Need-

  • Bachelor’s degree in Organization Change Management, IT, Business, Communications, or related field required.

  • 8+ years of overall work experience with demonstrated propensity to take on increasing responsibility and expanded scope required.

  • 5+ years of experience in the strategic communications/change management area required.

  • Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools required.

  • Change Management Professional and/or Project Management Certification preferred.

  • Experience working with Cybersecurity teams preferred.
