Summary About the Position: You will serve as the point of contact and action officer for the Office of the Provost Marshal General (OPMG) Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Program. Provide advisory services on a wide variety of substantive issues, with extensive scope and impact throughout the organization with interrelated processes and functions. Serve as the Personnel and Resource Management Department (PRMD) Staff Action Control Officer. Implement and execute Management's Internal Controls Program. Responsibilities Process Freedom of Information Act requests for the organization. Set up deadlines for response to FOIA requester. Provide guidance for release of requested information. Ensure that all FOIA forms contain the appropriate Privacy Act Statement. Assist managers in ensuring that internal control responsibilities are carried out properly. Formulate guidance and recommends potential solutions addressing difficult problems and issues. Coordinate and track the suspense items coming into the organization. Manage/maintain the records and use of the Purchase Card, utilizing the appropriate financial banking programs to manage purchases. Coordinate administrative programs for the organization. Maintain accident and injury records for the organization. Specialized experience is defined as: processing all Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests, referring FOIA requests to appropriate offices, preparing reports for management, developing recommendations to correct deficiencies in operations, issuing and tracking items/material to be received, authorizing and approving usage of purchase cards. Education Some Federal positions allow education as a substitution for specialize experience. For this position, you must qualify based on the experience described in your resume. No education substitution is permitted. Additional Information Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. One year trial/probationary period may be required. Direct deposit of pay is required. Selection is subject to restrictions resulting from Department of Defense referral system for displaced employees.
