The Ground Beef Maintenance Lead will direct the daily activities of and work directly with GB Maintenance Technicians within an assigned area. They will be responsible for being an example to other Team Members using a continuous improvement mentality and will work to perpetuate a Creekstone Proud culture through attitude and actions. They are additionally responsible for maintaining plant equipment to supply maximum available uptime for production while ensuring the safest work environment possible.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Monitor and participate in operations in assigned areas
• Give guidance, support, and professional development to technicians
• Assist in scheduling of work according to priorities and direction from the supervisor or superintendent
• Ensure that all techs properly use the warehouse processes
• Work with maintenance supervisor and superintendent, to develop needed training for all techs
• Assist in managing daily shift downtime reconciliation/action items
• Ensure every position in area of responsibility is properly staffed at the start of each shift
• Manage team members break times to ensure rotations are followed and time is not exceeded
• Follow the plants continuous improvement process and plan
• All other duties as assigned
