The Team Lead Manufacturing Engineering Turkey DB IFO ensures maximum project efficiency in manufacturing and related areas. This role requires extensive knowledge of production and assembly technologies. The leader collaborates with the team to streamline procedures through continuous improvement, lean philosophy, and cost reduction, aiming to boost productivity without sacrificing quality. They lead, motivate, and develop the manufacturing team, ensuring project schedule compliance, milestone management, and alignment across assembly and manufacturing sites.

• Production and Supplier Management:

• Plan, control, and monitor production and assembly processes with subcontractors and assembly partners.

• Support multiple external production and suppliers from start to handover of rail vehicles.

• Team Leadership and Development:

• Lead and manage a team with clear target setting, development, motivation, and guidance.

• Define necessary resources, standard operation times, HSE.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering – or equivalent

• Very good knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and state of the art manufacturing procedures

• Good knowledge in CAD programs and scheduling program, e.g. Primavera P6

• Excellent written and spoken Turkish and English skills, German could be an advantage.

• Strong soft skills and capacity of teamwork

• Good skills in MS-Office applications

• Cross-cultural competence dealing inside and outside Turkish markets.

Experience

• Significant experiences in production and manufacturing operations, minimum 5 years

• Used to lead teams (functional and disciplinary) with strong monitoring and turnaround experience.

• Strong experience on operating control systems and execution/implementation of measures to stabilize partners and operations by creating transparency.
