Boston Scientific Senior IT Architect - SAP Capital Service Management (SM) in Arden Hills, Minnesota

About the Role: Boston Scientific is seeking a Senior Architect to support and optimize SAP Capital Service Management (SM), S4 Service, Plant Maintenance, customer service, and related business processes through the Salesforce.com-integrated ServiceMax solution. In this role, you will be the technical owner within our Magellan business transformation program (S4 HANA). Your focus will be on developing, enhancing, and supporting system functionality in SAP, working closely with the ServiceMax development team. You'll analyze, design, test, and deliver business and information system solutions that align with organizational goals and improve operational efficiency. This is a hybrid opportunity and will require 3 days onsite. Your responsibilities will include: Collaborate with the Product Owner and business stakeholders to understand and improve business processes. Recommend technical solutions that meet business needs and align with global design standards. Lead activities related to identifying business requirements, developing solutions, and implementing them within the Service-to-Cash process, working with cross-functional teams. Apply technical knowledge to introduce solutions and improvements. Manage multiple priorities while maintaining alignment across teams. Configure SAP S4 Service System and evaluate new capabilities to meet business objectives. Adhere to project plans, managing tasks, timelines, and deliverables. Communicate project status and escalate issues when necessary, ensuring technical deliverables meet deadlines. Ensure the quality and completeness of technical documentation according to IS methodology and processes. Diagnose and resolve technical issues, recommend workarounds, and implement solutions. Design, build, test, and implement system or application enhancements, recommending alternatives when appropriate. Provide support in S4 Service Management and interface with ServiceMax. Apply knowledge in API integration, SAP CRM, and Fiori Apps to improve system functionality. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5+ years of experience with SAP modules, including SAP ECC6 and/or S4HANA. Familiarity with SAP Service Management (SM), SAP Sales and Distribution (SD), and SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) modules. Experience with SAP core functionalities, including notifications, service orders, preventive maintenance, pricing, credit management, and customer master data. Experience in large enterprise SAP development projects, with an understanding of the software development lifecycle and opportunities for process improvements. Communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. Organizational and time management skills to manage multiple priorities. Ability to lead teams and offer technical guidance to achieve project goals. Analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience designing and documenting technical solutions. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with the S/4HANA Service Management module and working with both current and future functionality. Experience with ServiceMax integrations and knowledge of how ServiceMax objects integrate with SAP systems. Familiarity with Advanced Variant Configuration in S/4HANA for managing complex product configurations. Industry experience in Medical Device or Life Sciences, with the ability to apply this knowledge to service management processes.
