Boston Scientific Material Handler II - 1st Shift in Arden Hills, Minnesota

Location: Brooklyn Park, MN Hours: Monday - Friday (7AM-3PM) About this role: Performs manual and clerical duties utilizing proper technology to receive, process, prepare, and ship materials, supplies, and equipment. Involves the handling and movement of capital equipment both company and customer owned. Your responsibilities will include: Receives in capital equipment and accessories, utilizing SAP to perform inventory movements. Enters receipts into the CE Returns Tracking File. Packages orders that have been repaired according to specifications or knowledge of shipping practices to prepare the package to go to the distribution center to be shipped. Type pertinent information into Fed Ex computer or equivalent (e.g., customer number, method of shipment) to generate a printed label to be used for product shipment. Examines shipment containers at the time of delivery for any damage, and verifies the accuracy of information listed on the documentation by opening the packages and visually inspecting the contents in order to ensure accurate deliveries. Enters information regarding product information and decontamination using the GCMS Trackwise system. Transports material (e.g., production and non-production materials) upon request, using a forklift, pallet jack, or truck to the designated location. Receives out-going shipments from internal customers and packages items using the appropriate materials (e.g., cardboard boxes and packaging tape) to properly prepare items for shipment. Records shipment information using the carrier service's systems and methods (e.g., Federal Express, UPS) for shipping traceability. Performs SAP transactions to clearly identify status of product. Performs SAP transactions to convert UPNs to indicate refurbishment or hospital owned status. Performs harvesting of components and accessories from equipment bundles and prepares them to be restocked into inventory. Reads, comprehends and follows basic job instructions and/or protocols including verbal, written, diagramed, colored and other related documents; written in English. Required qualifications: 2 years of experience in a distribution or manufacturing setting High School diploma Must be able to lift up to 50lbs Must be able to stand for a minimum six hours per day Must have a basic computer knowledge skills (i.e. Excel, Outlook, Word) The ability to get certified on pallet jack and forklift Preferred qualifications: Knowledge of SAP Attentive to detail and able to record data accurately Excellent organizational skills and ability to perform multiple processes at once Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally Requisition ID:586056 Among other requirements, Boston Scientific maintains specific prohibited substancetesting requirements for safety-sensitive positions.
