BorgWarner Inc. Key Account Manager in Arcore, Italy

Sales managers are responsible for leading sales teams to achieve sales goals. Sales managers are primarily tasked with hiring and training team members, setting quotas, evaluating and adjusting performance, and developing processes that drive sales. Sales managers are often expected to travel.

Acquiring a detailed understanding of key customer needs and requirements. Develop positive relationships with a portfolio of valuable customers to ensure they don't turn to competition.

Expand relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their goals. The Key Account Manager position promotes and achieves maximum profitable growth of Borg-Warner Morse products.

He has contact with the Morse Systems Italy Engineering Center, Manufacturing, Manufacturing Engineering, Financial and Logistics personnel for the purpose of obtaining engineering data, delivery dates, customer account data and cost estimates.

  • Manage sales and marketing activities for assigned accounts;

  • guide the organization to achieve the sales growth objectives for the assigned accounts;

  • prepare, present and commercial proposals to the client;

  • overseeing the customer's complete strategy regarding cost reduction, competitive positioning, manufacturing planning and preparation for the launch of new programs;

  • collaborate with the extended global sales organization to ensure compliance with and implementation of a coherent global strategy for customers;

  • ensure customer service and happiness by building ongoing relationships and contacts with key personnel within the customer base and by reporting improvements to the BorgWarner organization where necessary;

  • coordinate and effectively conduct customer visits to Morse Systems facilities as part of future business development, new program launches or production reviews;

  • find the meeting point between the customer's request and the company's need;

  • strengthen operational efficiency to improve intimacy with customers;

  • develop answers and work to find solutions to customer requests and problems. This involves maintaining a superior level of written and oral communication both with the client and within the BW organization.
