Job Title: EVS Supervisor

Job Description

EVS Supervisor needed to oversee team of EVS Housekeepers in a hospital environment. Will be responsible for training, supervising, coaching, and completing Housekeeping responsibilities.

General Responsibilities:

• Clean offices, patients’/residents’ rooms, dorms, classrooms, schools, common areas, lavatories, halls, food service areas, and any other areas that may require attention.

• Sweep, mop, scrub, polish floors, and vacuum hallways, stairs, and office space.

• Clean light fixtures, ceilings and vents, walls, mattresses, furniture, windows, and window coverings.

• Properly and safely use cleaning chemicals per manufacturer and Sodexo standards.

• Empty trash and garbage, and restock supplies.

• Shampoo and clean carpets or buff and polish floors, which will require the use of mechanical equipment.

• Change sheets and replenish linens.

• Perform routine equipment maintenance and make minor repairs.

• Move furniture and set up tables and chairs.

• Notify supervisor concerning the need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment.

• Comply with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures.

• Report all accidents and injuries in a timely manner.

• Participate in regular safety meetings, safety training, and hazard assessments.

• Apply all applicable OSHA and related local safety requirements to all assigned work.

• Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.

• Attend training programs (classroom and virtual) as designated.

• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
