What you’ll do:

• PLC programming and implementation.

• Experience with Networking;

• Uses of Industrial communication protocols like ProfiBus, ProfiNet, Ethernet IP, and demonstrable ability to problem solve those systems.

• Performs a technical specification book for an equipment taking into consideration the process and maintenance part.

• Analysis metrics and data and identify system and machine optimization opportunities.

• Applies Change Management processes.

• Participates in multifunctional Transfer and New Product Introductions Teams

• Performs process related activities: process flow, PFMEA, work instructions (Standard Work) , time study , work station design implementation together with process steps review.

• Develops the poka-yoke tools and jigs used in the line, to eliminate as much as possible the operator’s errors.

Qualifications:

• Technical university degree

• 3-5 years experience in automation

Skills:

• English medium to advanced

• Significant experience in an automation engineering role, in a high reliability manufacturing facility.

• Capability to understand electronic equipment functionality and schematics.

• Good team player who is willing to take ownership of problems and fully participate and integrate in team activities.

• Diagnostic experience over a wide range of technologies, with competencies in automation (PLC), sensors, electrical schematics, equipment construction, equipment safety protection circuits, reliability tests.

• Able to work with minimal supervision.

• SAP knowledge is a plus
