Watco Companies L.L.C. Accounts Receivable Coordinator - Lowell, AR in AR, United States
Hourly rate of pay: $17-20/hr depending on experience.
The Accounts Receivable Coordinator of Watco Logistics is responsible for ensuring the timely invoicing of customers within the transportation management system (TMS). It is essential for the Accounts Receivable Coordinator to monitor and collect past due receivables.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING (OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED)
Create and submit customer invoicing
Prepare Aging Reports to help monitor past due receivables
Communicate daily with customers on past due invoices and monitor payments and disputes
Produce weekly summary past due receivable reports
Enter and report adjustments on all debits and credits in the Transportation Management System (TMS)
Work with team members to obtain root cause and resolution for reported credits and debits
Communicate daily with internal teams to target problems on past due accounts and assist with identification of next steps to bring account to current
Comply with accounting principles and company procedures
Effectively communicate with internal teams inclusive of corporate accounting and management regarding invoices and processing
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS & ABILITIES

High School Education or a GED is required
Experience in accounting or finance preferred
Apply knowledge of organization, communication, conflict resolution, and time management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Ability to work with others and be a positive influence on co-workers
Strong phone and email communication
Effective customer service skills and the ability to service both internal and external customers
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Sit, stand, walk, and reach with arms – Completion of paperwork, consecutive hours of typing and using the computer, and walk to filing cabinets in the work area
Talk daily to customers, team members, vendors, etc.
Ability to hear what the team members communicate
The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Use hands to finger and feel keys on keyboards and calculators
Capability to reach with hands and arms to file, grasp, and maneuver paperwork; and/or reach and operate personal computer and office equipment
Capacity to adjust focus to operate personal computer, calculate, compile, and enter information from timesheets and timecards.
