We’re on the hunt for a detail-oriented Accountant to be a key player in our Financial Services team. In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of our accounting operations, bringing your expertise to implement sound accounting principles and deliver top-notch advisory functions.

What You'll Do:

  • Drive Financial Excellence: Prepare and record journal entries, maintain ledgers, and create detailed accounting information with monthly reconciliations. - Ensure Accuracy: Audit, resolve, and approve daily values or balances, applying your keen judgment to analyze and correct discrepancies. - Support Audits: Assist in preparing materials for both internal and external audits, ensuring compliance and accuracy. - Innovate and Improve: Recommend enhancements to our accounting systems and procedures, using your deep knowledge of accounting practices. - Lead Change: Implement procedural changes and take on project assignments that drive our department forward. - Collaborate and Excel: Work independently and with your peers, exercising detail oriented judgment and preparing essential accounting reports, spreadsheets, and statements. - Stay Ahead: Maintain a solid understanding of our department’s functions and the broader business areas we support.

• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial transactions

• Experience in financial reporting, creating journal entries, and preparing detailed reports

• Ability to perform monthly reconciliation and identify any discrepancy

• Knowledge of audit procedures, including internal and external audits

• Familiarity with financial industry regulations and policies

• Experience in tax computations and understanding of tax regulations

• Ability to manage financial operations and implement process improvements

• Proficiency in using spreadsheets for financial data management

• Understanding of mutual funds operations in the financial services industry

• Knowledge of accounting methods and practices

• Experience in ledger management and accounting procedures.
