Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in the Healthcare industry, specifically located in Appleton, Wisconsin. This role requires a strong understanding of insurance plans, claims, and payment processes, as well as excellent computer and telephone skills. It's essential to have basic knowledge of medical office practices, terminology, and abbreviations. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and will be able to clearly and precisely communicate with doctors, nurses, therapists, co-workers, and patients. It's also important to adhere to OSHA, HIPAA, and MEDICARE guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Engage in both verbal and written communication with patients regarding their accounts.

• Prepare estimates for surgical procedures.

• Establish payment plans with patients.

• Process credit card payments made by patients.

• Engage in regular communication with insurance companies.

• Utilize knowledge of basic medical terminology, Medicare billing, and excellent customer service skills in daily tasks.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Basic Medical Terminology

• Strong Communication skills

• Experience in Medicare Billing

• Proven Customer Service skills

• Familiarity with the Healthcare/NHS industry

• Ability to handle and resolve customer inquiries and complaints

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Proficiency in using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software

• Excellent problem-solving skills

• High level of professionalism and ethical standards

• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality
