Job Title: Sr. Engineering Project ManagerJob Description

Our company is seeking a seasoned Sr. Engineering Project Manager to oversee medium to large scale, technically complex, New Product Development and Value Engineering projects. You will independently lead system level project oversight, guided by cooperative collaboration with senior subject matter experts. Your role will involve leading project teams through the product development process from conception to post release with a strong sense of urgency. This may include facilitating development brainstorming events, and post-launch activities intended to support a smooth transition into production. Additionally, you will oversee the parallel path development of manufacturing production lines, including the design of fixtures and end-of-line test equipment. As a project chair, you will focus on scope control, schedule updates, budget tracking, and risk management throughout the project lifecycle.

• 10+ years of NPD PM experience

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Apex, North Carolina.

Work Environment

This role requires a physical presence at our Apex facility, with some flexibility for hybrid work. As a leader, you will be responsible for leading events and problem-solving activities, working closely with 8-12 SME’s in each of the different function areas; including Hardware, Software, and App engineers. In your first three months, you will learn our stage gate process and what needs to get done where and when in order to define the milestones. This role requires a holistic understanding of product development, the ability to define milestones, and the capability to work with a team to build a comprehensive plan.
