The Salesforce.com Administrator (SFDC Admin) will support our growing organization, evolving requirements, and ongoing strategic initiatives related to automation and efficiency. The position will reside inside our Sales Operations team and will collaborate with various departments on projects and initiatives that directly relate to the Salesforce.com platform and integrated applications.

The work primarily supports automation and enablement efforts across a wide tech stack benefitting the sales, client success, product, and marketing teams, with other departments being focused on as needed. The ideal candidate should have experience administering Salesforce and is comfortable presenting training material to an audience, working with Sales Reps, and managing expectations with key stakeholders in Sales, Product, and Marketing, including leadership.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with internal stakeholders to ensure that the Salesforce.com configuration supports business requirements. As required, manage Salesforce.com enhancement projects to support business needs.

  • Manage functional day-to-day operations of Salesforce.com. Serve as a point of contact for Marketing and Sales to provide maintenance, configuration, reporting, and training.

  • Configure and manage inbound lead routing and assignment to various Sales groups.

  • Support the Sales Operations team with ongoing maintenance such as setting up new hires with leads and managing lead ownership.

  • Conduct training sessions about inbound lead routing & assignment, inbound lead follow-up process and expectations, opportunity creation, defining Salesforce list views, tagging campaigns, etc.

  • Manage security, users, roles, profiles, groups, page layouts, queues and other Salesforce.com setup options as needed.

  • Scope requirements for, maintain existing, and create new Salesforce Flows to support various automation efforts.

  • Follow documented processes to update strategic data and identify gaps and errors within various systems (primarily Salesforce.com).

  • Update Salesforce reports and dashboards when necessary.

  • Prepare data files and upload the data into Salesforce.com using Apex Data Loader and/or third party tools.

  • Test and QA of enhancements/changes to Salesforce.com deployment using the sandbox.

  • Manage new configurations and enhancements using a predetermined change management policy that specifies sandbox environments, their purposes, and users.

  • Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.

  • Ability to develop and manage project schedules, identify risks, and clearly communicate them to project stakeholders.

  • Identify, recommend, and implement quality and efficiency improvements.

  • Project manage work and share status on a weekly basis with stakeholders.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Salesforce.com administrator with at least 3-5 years related experience.

  • Knowledge of Salesforce.com configuration including use of data loader and third-party tools.

  • Extensive experience with data migration into Salesforce.com for objects including but not limited to accounts, contacts, campaigns, leads, and opportunities.

  • Experience with Salesforce.com process automation (flow).

  • Experience with the Salesforce CPQ product implementation and its capabilities.

  • Experience with managing approval processes within the Salesforce.com platform.

  • Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

  • Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to understand, ideate, and articulate abstract concepts and designs.

  • Ability to recognize when a project scope requires Apex or Visualforce development.

  • Familiarity with widely used sales processes which cover lead generation, deal qualification, proposal generation, negotiation, and contracting.

  • Ability to conduct data structure and hierarchical analysis.

  • Ability to explicitly interpret data and visualizations into actionable insights.

  • Ability to calculate discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

  • Team player with a “get it done” attitude.

  • Able to be highly confidential.

  • Proficient with computers including the utilization of Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

  • Able to work in a team environment.

  • Manages stress and/or fast pace effectively.

  • Excellent written & verbal communication and problem-solving skills.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma required.

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent education and/or relevant work experience required.

  • Three (3) or more years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator. Admin 201 Certification preferred.

  • 3+ years of work experience in the following areas:

  • Business analytics and Sales productivity metrics.

  • Database management/administration or as a business data owner.

  • Data center industry experience preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Primarily sitting with some walking, standing, and bending.

  • Able to hear and speak into a telephone.

  • Close visual work on a computer terminal.

  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate any required computer keyboard, mouse, and other technical instruments.

WORK CONDITIONS & OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • This position is expected to be remote for the foreseeable future with an occasional need to be on-site in a shared workspace.

  • Occasional travel for team-related meetings/activities is a possibility.

  • Must possess a current, valid state-issued driver’s license

This is a remote position that requires reliable internet connection and electricity. A monthly stipend is provided to cover expenses associated with working remotely and use of a personal mobile device, if applicable.

NTT Global Data Centers Americas, Inc. offers competitive compensation based on experience, education, and location. Base salary for this position is $89,600 - $128,200

All regular full-time employees are eligible for an annual bonus; payout is dependent upon individual and company performance.
