Aston Carter Sourcing Specialist in Anoka, Minnesota

Job Title: Sourcing Specialist - 6 Month Contract

Job Description

  • Negotiate and lead major contract negotiations, monitor contract compliance, and optimize contractual obligations for HR, Consulting, and IT Technology requirements.

  • Red Line, Pricing, Reviewing of legal documents with Suppliers of the organization.

  • Replicate agreements to ensure the organization in other areas can use them moving forward.

  • Work directly with the legal team and Category Managers on the Supply Chain team.

  • Collaborate with key functional leadership to apply critical business requirements within the negotiations.

  • Build relationships with key stakeholders to coordinate and collaborate in executing key sourcing initiatives and managing supplier relationships.

  • Handle 250 agreements/contracts within 2 key dates in the process.

Hard Skills

  • 2 years’ experience in indirect supply management, with experience in sourcing preferred

  • Bachelors in Business, Procurement, or Supply Chain preferred

  • Contract negotiation

  • Experience and understanding of various software models including Software as a Service (SaaS), perpetual on-premises, and subscription licenses

  • Experience negotiating large enterprise software suites

  • Experience negotiating technology implementation, integration, and services scopes of work

Soft Skills

  • Strong negotiation skills

  • Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders

  • Collaboration with key functional leadership

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Anoka, Minnesota and some days remote.

Work Environment

M-F, Wednesdays in the office, 3 days out of the week, 8am-5pm
