Job Title: CNC Machinist

Job Description

Setting up and operating CNC mills, lathes, and occasionally wire EDM machines to assist in manufacturing and repairing custom tooling for customers. This is a non-production environment, and jobs can change weekly depending on incoming orders for new tooling and tooling repair. Will be conversationally programming jobs at the controller on all machines.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and wire EDM machines.

• Assist in manufacturing and repairing custom tooling for customers.

• Conversationally program jobs at the controller on all machines.

• Adapt to changing job requirements on a weekly basis depending on incoming orders.

Essential Skills

• Experience with CNC operation and programming.

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.

• Skilled in operating CNC mills and lathes.

• Knowledge of wire EDM machines.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Wire EDM experience.

• Precision grinding experience in a tool and die setting.
