Job Description

BAE SYSTEMS is Seeking an Operations Supervisor for our Forge location in Anniston, AL that will be responsible for driving the planning process for operations by overseeing and managing manufacturing operations. This position will be on third shift (10:00 pm - 6:00 am)

Responsibilities Include:

• Assigning team members with tasks to be completed each shift

• Setting performance metrics for team members and work with team members to ensure all metrics are met

• Properly resolving problems and troubleshooting issues as they arise without the direction of management

• Maintaining a work environment that meets company, state and federal safety and employment

• Examining staff performance and provides training where necessary

• Manage employee schedules and time-off request

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• High School diploma or equivalent

• 3 years of experience working in a manufacturing Environment

• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills

• Knowledge of computer software such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

• Ability to solve problems and make quick decisions

• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing

• Must be able to lift up to 35 LBS

• Will be required to stand for lengthy amounts of time in support of the team.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• 1 years of supervisory / leadership experience

• Associates degree

• Experience working in a Union environment

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $64440 - $109530

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
