Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in ANNAPOLIS, Maryland. This role will oversee the accounting and finance needs for multiple clients, manage various accounting related projects, and play a vital role in staff development. As a Sr. Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring financial statements are in conformity with GAAP and maintaining strong client relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation of general ledger journal entries, fixed asset tracking, monthly balance sheet reconciliations, and bank reconciliations

• Prepare financial statements in conformity with GAAP

• Regularly communicate with clients to review their financial and accounting activities

• Complete and manage accounting related projects for multiple clients

• Maintain strong client relationships and build client confidence

• Assist and train junior staff, including assistance with solving problems and taking an active role in staff development

• Manage client work and produce deliverables

• Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Microsoft Excel, Month End Close, NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP to perform duties effectively. Requirements • Proficiency in account reconciliation is essential.

• Experience with balance sheet reconciliation is required.

• Skills in conducting bank reconciliations are necessary.

• Familiarity with the general ledger is expected.

• Ability to make journal entries is crucial.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary.

• Experience with month-end close duties is important.

• Knowledge of NetSuite software is desired.

• Familiarity with Oracle software is beneficial.

• Experience with SAP software is advantageous.
