We are seeking a highly skilled Software Integration and Test Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will perform test design and develop operational scenarios based on technical requirements and design packages. The role involves developing software integration and acceptance test plans and procedures with clear objectives and traceability to requirements. The candidate will integrate software components into the test environment and maintain the laboratory, including test simulation and analysis tools. Additionally, the role includes conducting formal integration and system-level testing, verifying functional and performance requirements in a production-like test environment, and validating installation procedures and user documentation to ensure seamless integration into a high-availability system environment.
Responsibilities
Perform test design and develop operational scenarios when reviewing technical requirements and design packages.
Develop software integration and acceptance test plans and procedures with clear objectives and traceability to requirements.
Integrate software components into the test environment and maintain the test environment laboratory, including test simulation and analysis tools.
Conduct formal integration and system-level testing.
Perform verification of functional and performance requirements in a production-like test environment.
Validate installation procedures and user documentation to ensure seamless integration into a high-availability system environment.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in Java.
Experience with test automation and Selenium.
Knowledge of regression testing.
Ability to develop test plans and test cases.
Experience testing Java enterprise applications.
Familiarity with DevOps and DevSecOps practices.
Experience with JMS, MQ, and continuous improvement.
Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and GitLab.
Knowledge of web development.
STEM degree.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience working on multiple diverse projects simultaneously.
Strong analytical skills.
Technical domain knowledge in the aviation community.
Work Environment
The work environment is a team and lab setting with 4-5 days a week onsite. There is an opportunity for remote work on Fridays. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $105000.00/hr.
