Veterinary Customer Service Representative

Do you have a passion for Veterinary Specialty Care? Are you ready to take the next step and join a growing Internal Medicine and Oncology team?

AVIM&O Annapolis is looking for an Veterinary Receptionist interested in collaborating with our Internists and Oncologists to provide excellent client care. At AVIM&O, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Providing excellent customer support

  • Embracing a team environment

  • Attending daily rounds

  • Client education and sales

  • Managing multi-line phone systems

  • Assisting with appointments

  • Potential cross training to perform safe, low stress patient handling

  • Other client service related duties

  • Maintaining hospital cleanliness

You’ll need to be professional, trustworthy, punctual, and love working in a specialty environment! You will take this opportunity to learn, grow, and achieve well above average results. Compensation is based on experience and positive attitude within the work environment.

At AVIMO-Annapolis, you will work directly with a team of board certified internal medicine and oncology veterinarians. As well a great team of registered and senior veterinary technicians and client service representatives. We pride ourselves in providing a safe and welcoming team with opportunities for educational and professional growth. AVIMO-Annapolis is part of the Chesapeake Veterinary Referral Center which is the premier veterinary specialty center in the area. Our team works directly with the other specialty services like surgery, neurology, cardiology, eye care, and the AAVEC emergency team. 

Job Types: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, scheduled between 7am-7pm

Experience:

  • Veterinary Customer Service Representative: 1 year (Preferred)

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Work authorization:

  • United States (Required)

  • One location

Hours per week:

  • 32-40
