Summary

The College of Literature, Science, and the Arts, and the Department of Communication and Media at the University of Michigan invite applications for a Lecturer I position at 33% effort for the Fall 2024 Term. This appointment is scheduled to begin on August 26, 2024 and end December 31, 2024.

Responsibilities*

Responsibilities include course coordination and teaching of the following course in the Fall term 2024:

COMM 405 - Seminar in Mass Media and Mass Communication - Marketing Technologies

Required Qualifications*

Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree, a proven teaching record of excellence, and a portfolio of work demonstrating a commitment to moving image media as an art form. The Department of Communication and Media integrates theory and practice within a liberal arts context.

Union Affiliation

This position is covered under the collective bargaining agreement between the U-M and the Lecturers Employee Organization, AFL-CIO, which contains and settles all matters with respect to wages, benefits, hours and other terms and conditions of employment.
