The Purpose of the Position: The Field Service Technician will represent the company at customer facilities executing installation, troubleshooting, rebuild, supervision, and/or preventative maintenance activities to optimize our customers processes and machinery. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and improve the production performance of equipment throughout the installed base.
• Install, test, and commission equipment.
• Use of tools, measurement & test equipment as dictated by the specific equipment and situation.
• Perform professional preventive maintenance and provide service to our customers; analyze the condition of installed systems and rectify faults; dectect potential problem to prevent production stoppages.
• Partner with Project Managers, Engineering and Customers to coordinate maintenance, installations and repairs.
• Provide information to Support Quotations for customers.
• Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and safe work practices.
• Support Lean practices and concepts.
• Support ISO requirements.

Required Education, Training & Experience

• High school diploma plus two additional years of related technical training.
• A minimum 4 years with hands on experience in electrical / mechanical repair or servicing industrial equipment.

Preferred Education, Training & Experience:

• Proficient reading, oral, and written Spanish (Mexico) or French (Canada) language preferred.
• Microsoft Office Suite, and other PC-based industrial automation software tools

Skills, Knowledge, Abilities & Behaviors:

• Ability to perform mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic installation and build of equipment
• Ability to organize several tasks according to importance and sequence steps to insure timely work completion
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time and work a flexible work schedule

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Ability to effectively lead/supervise contract labor during installations or as needed
