They need a Design Engineer for their small sales and design office; there are 5 other Design Engineers here. they are a Tier I/II supplier of mechanisms, plastics, and metal fastening products to the OEMs; customers include Nissan, Honda, and GM; products include interior trim fasteners, wiring fasteners, interior trim components, interior latches, dampening systems, and various other metal springs and interior mechanisms; 50% of day-to-day job is using Catia V5 to do design, detailing, change work on their products; the other 50% of time will be spent attending design review meetings, on conference calls with internal and external customers, and project management;

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

MUST HAVE:

• Bachelors in Engineering or Engineering Technology

• 2+ Years' experience working as a Design Engineer for a Plastic Injection Molding company

• 3D CAD knowledge (Catia is preferred)

• 3 years' Tier 1/Tier2/OEM experience

• Strong MS Office Skills

• Excellent communication skills

BONUS:

Catia V5 experience

Experience with injection-molded plastic products and/or metal products
