Job Summary

The Department of Chemistry at the University of Michigan is a dynamic department with a long tradition of excellence in the chemical sciences, and we invite applications for tenure-track positions in any area of chemistry (including analytical, chemical biology, education, inorganic, materials, organic, and physical) with an anticipated start date of August 25, 2025. Applicants must have a Ph.D., and these positions will be University-year appointments (9-months academic-year salary with summer salary supported by research funds). We seek candidates who will cultivate an internationally recognized program of scholarly research, excel in teaching and mentoring at the undergraduate and graduate levels, promote an inclusive scholarly environment, and commit to building a diverse intellectual community.
