Bring your talent to Raytheon, Circuit Card Manufacturing in Andover, Massachusetts. We have a high visibility opportunity for a Value Stream Lead. Take on full management accountability for the safety, quality, schedule, and cost performance of a multi-cell/multi-shift operation. The Value Stream Leader will drive operational excellence throughout the organization.

This key role requires daily interaction with other functions to maintain and meet organizational goals. These groups include technical support, manufacturing/test/design engineering, maintenance, production control, and finance. Achieving/exceeding safety, quality, delivery, cost goals and identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities using CORE and lean methodologies are critical performance criteria for this position.

What You Will Do

  • Deployment of manufacturing operations strategy, control systems, tools, and metrics to accurately measure progress and drive continuous improvement.

  • Workforce planning and forecasting.

  • Employee hiring and training.

  • Area layout and flow management

  • Capital identification and control of overhead expenses.

  • Ensuring full compliance of company policies and procedures.

  • Solve complex operational issues while maintaining open communications and a cooperative work environment.

  • Utilizing lean manufacturing concepts.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically require a university degree or equivalent experience and 8 years of experience in manufacturing, operations, and/or engineering or a similar environment or an Advanced degree and 5 years of related experience.

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Broad understanding of circuit card design, quality and production requirements and a demonstrated ability to continuously improve these processes.

  • Strong management skills including the ability to make decisions with minimal supervision, goal setting, delegation, coaching, and motivating.

  • Knowledge in assembly, inspection, and test operations

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), presentation and influencing skills.

  • High level of computer literacy / confidence and skill working with Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Project) and familiarity with Raytheon systems (CMES, SAP, PDM)

  • EVMS Level 2 Certified

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
