Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Raytheon Program team as the Patriot Missile Product Line Capital Equipment Lead in support of the Patriot Missile Product Line (PPL). You will be primarily responsible for coordinating across Operations, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), and Program Teams in the planning and execution efforts on all capital investments across the Global Patriot Missile portfolio. You will be responsible for identifying and mitigating capacity constraints using capacity modeling tools and incorporating investment gaps into the Long-Range Plan (LRP). You will assist with providing tactical direction for project execution and maintain program cadence to ensure contract and company requirements, deliverables, and reporting are met using the approved business model and relevant management tools including EVMS, IPDS, PRISM, etc.

This position is an onsite role located in Andover, MA.

Responsibilities to Anticipate :

  • Synchronize the Global Patriot capital investment portfolio across Global Patriot Partners, supply base, and RTX facilities to enable alignment with strategic Patriot Missile business initiatives

  • Develop and maintain global capability and capacity models for the Missile Patriot Product Line, including the usage of GFE provided for support of contract execution and oversee project life cycle milestones including kick off meetings, Preliminary Design Reviews (PDR), Critical Design Reviews (CDR), Integrated Master Plan and Integrated Master Schedule (IMP/IMS) reviews

  • Identify and implement key program metrics and lead development of situational awareness charts that can be used as management tools by directors and program leadership teams to drive program success

  • Provide support to the program management teams as required for key meetings (ROMB, Team meetings and iPMRs, etc.)

  • Provide guidance to program leads on the implementation of risk and opportunity management with regards to execution of LRP and AOP capital plans

  • Interface with Program partners to ensure contractual offset obligation requirements are aligned to the Product Line and SBU’s investment strategy

  • Support proposal and startup activities to expand Patriot Missile global manufacturing capabilities

  • Ensure due diligence and compliance efforts are coordinated with GT/EXIM

  • Ensure timely and effective IPDS gate process compliance

  • Ability to support international and domestic travel as required

    Basic Qualifications :

  • Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and 10 years of relevant experience OR an Advanced degree and minimum 7 years of experience is required

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in program or project management

  • Leadership experience

  • Experience with program management tools, IPDS, and/or collaboration tools

  • Experience with EVMS, Risk & Opportunity Management, IMP and/or IMS development

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

    Preferred Qualifications :

  • Program Management Level 6 certification or ability to achieve within 6 months

  • Demonstrated ability to lead by influence and collaboration

  • Prior experience with large scale programs/projects, including development, execution, and closure

  • Strong communication skills and experience presenting to customers and senior leadership

  • Experience on Patriot programs

  • Prior experience interacting with international customers

  • Experience preparing business cases, estimates, AR workbooks, and the eCAR submittal process

  • Onsite : Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

  • Hybrid : Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.

  • Remote : Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.

    Clearance Information: This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
