Make a Difference

Community Hospital Anderson has an excellent opportunity available within our main Operating Room located in Anderson, IN. The Operating Room CST will be responsible for scrubbing on a variety of surgical cases. You will assist the surgeons and anticipate needs. The Certified Surgical Technologist will possess knowledge of sterile and aseptic technique.

Exceptional Skills and Qualifications

  • Associates degree in Surgical Technology from a CAAHEP accredited program of Surgical Technology preferred

  • 1 year of Operating Room experience preferred

  • Certified Surgical Technologist preferred or required within 6 months of hire

  • Strong written, verbal and nonverbal interpersonal and professional communication skill are required

  • Demonstrates ability to prioritize, organize and multi-task with a high degree of responsibility, responsiveness

  • Takes direction well but also self directed and motivated
