Outside Sales Representative - This position will be based out of either Juneau or Ketchikan!

As a sales representative, you are responsible for connecting with existing and potential customers to understand their business needs and offer solutions from our line of products and services. This role will require the ability to effectively network, develop leads, and make cold calls. You will support the Sales and Marketing divisions efforts to meet financial targets. The ability to manage time and multiple tasks is imperative, travel within the state is required and varies depending on business needs.

Duties and Key Responsibilities:

• Generating sales leads utilizing various sources to identify prospective customers.

``` - Cold call potential customers via multiple communication avenues. - Contact customers via phone and in person to maintain accounts as needed. - Monitor, evaluate, and report key market trends and activities of competitors. - Maintain information gathered utilizing company CRM database daily. - Explore and present creative solutions to meet customer requirements.

``` - Recommend sales/value added programs to customers utilizing established sales tools.

``` - Presents a professional and competent image to our customers, suppliers, community members, and Petro Marine Employees. - Other responsibilities, and special projects as needed or assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Associate degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school or 2+ years sales experience in transportation industry desirable, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
