What can you expect?

As the Concrete Finisher, you will report to our offices in Anchorage and will be working on projects at Wake Island in the Pacific Rim.

How will you do it?

  • You are responsible for placing, finishing, protecting, and repairing concrete in engineering and construction projects.
  • You will set the concrete forms, ensuring they have the correct depth and pitch. regulations, monitoring operations to ensure that health and safety standards are met.
  • You are required to properly wear, use, and maintain personal respirator equipment and other forms of personal protective equipment (PPE) on HAZWOPER sites.
  • You must possess good housekeeping skills with attention to detail on environmental hazardous to reduce personal exposure and potential spreading of hazardous contaminants.
  • You will perform any other duties as assigned by site superintendent or management.

Who is Brice Solutions looking for?

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Valid drivers license required.
  • Minimum of two years experience with concrete slab finishing.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
  • Knowledge of machines and tools including their uses, repair and maintenance and practical applications preferred.
  • OSHA 30-hour certification preferred.
  • HAZWOPER certification preferred.
  • Alaska and/or remote experience preferred.
