The Team

TOMMY HILFIGER and CALVIN KLEIN Europe have launched a series of interconnected projects aimed at transforming our in-house Ecommerce and data management capabilities to create a more connected, integrated and personalized dialogue with our consumers. A key part of this transformation project is the in-housing of our Performance marketing teams.

In the last year we have been building the foundations and the team for Performance Marketing. Now we are looking into moving to the next phase: building on the foundations and accelerating 2024 growth with key projects within the team and cross teams and departments.

The Position

The Senior SEO Specialist responsible for Content SEO is part of the Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein E-commerce department, sitting on the Performance Marketing team and reporting to the SEO Manager. This role will have a high degree of ownership over the Content and Off-site SEO strategy, roadmaps and execution for the both iconic brands.

Responsibilities will include the ideation, creation of business cases and aligning with relevant stakeholders to drive sustainable organic growth to our business. You will work directly with our Content, UX, Merchandising and Buying teams on a regular basis. You are expected to be a proactive player constantly sharing with the SEO Manager and extended team ideas and recommendations to grow the organic performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the SEO Manager to define and implement Content and Off-site SEO strategies for Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein brands and work closely with the senior Technical SEO Specialist to create a comprehensive SEO strategy that complements overall success.

  • Conduct content and keyword research to identify expansion and optimization opportunities based on competitors and industry trends.

  • Perform regular content audits to identify and address issues like duplicated content and cannibalization, providing clear recommendations for resolution.

  • Utilize SEO dashboards and reporting tools to identify areas for improvement in category and market performance.

  • Create search-optimized content, including page titles, meta descriptions, headers, image alt text, and on-page content.

  • Implement the off-site SEO strategy, collaborating with PR, affiliate, content, agency, and other relevant teams.

  • Regularly align with the Paid Search team for keyword research, analysis, and testing to strike the right balance between organic and paid marketing efforts.

  • Explore technology and innovation to enhance on-site SEO content effectively and at scale, particularly within a content management system (CMS).

  • Manage the Localization agency to drive growth in local markets and identify expansion opportunities.

  • Work closely with other business units, from Ecommerce to Marketing, to promote SEO and share best practices and processes.

  • Execute the channels' roadmap in alignment with the overall Marketing calendar and E-Commerce Strategy.

  • Keep up-to-date on the latest SEO trends and algorithm updates and share significant trends and potential impacts with the team.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • 5+ years of experience in working in a fast-paced digital agency, Ecom environment or performance marketing.

  • Deep knowledge of tools like, Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, Looker, ScreamingFrog, Keyword Planner, Ahrefs and SEMrush

  • Highly analytical and skilled in communication. Able to translate business questions and challenges into actionable & measurable solutions.

  • A detail-oriented, data-driven, and creative eye, combined with the ability to manage several projects simultaneously.

  • A strong learn-it-all and entrepreneurial mentality. Ability to deliver projects throughout the full project management life-cycle. Eager to learn and test new initiatives.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail & accuracy and ability to interact with all levels of end users and technical resources.

  • Knowledge of the retail & fashion industry is a plus.
