Regional Marketing Manager, Europe North

About our Team

Our Regional Marketing team partners closely with our sales team as partners for growth. Our primary focus is to drive business growth by deeply understanding, representing and meeting the evolving needs of our research customers. We do this by designing and executing strategic regional initiatives for our customers with support from global marketing experts and internal stakeholders. We bring the Elsevier brand to life through storytelling as a local expert, and develop a data & results driven culture.

About the Role

You will drive the marketing efforts across the Northern Europe market. This includes territories such as the UK, Benelux and Scandinavia. You will translate the short- and long-term business goals into local marketing plans and programs. The role includes execution of impactful regional marketing initiatives that drive growth.

Responsibilities

  • Developing a region-specific marketing plan blending Go-To-Market priorities of local markets;

  • Contributing to Go-To-Market plans and collaborating with other marketing functions to drive revenue growth;

  • Executing the marketing plan for the assigned region with clear objectives aligned to commercial goals;

  • Capturing, measuring, and reporting metrics related to marketing impact.

  • Creating regional messaging framework aligned with global message after thorough needs analysis;

  • Developing localized collateral, digital assets, email copy, case studies, or infographics;

  • Creating, expanding, and accelerating sales opportunities through regional and account-focused marketing execution;

  • Maintaining high standards of marketing planning, execution, and measurement.

    Requirements

  • Have demonstrated ability in demand generation including digital marketing for lead generation;

  • Be experienced in using content marketing to deliver a cohesive story and value proposition;

  • Have experience in digital field marketing and high comfort level with understanding or use of digital and social channels;

  • Able to analyze and report on the performance of campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for improvement;

  • Have experience in account-based marketing programs;

  • Have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, and collaborative abilities;

  • Be a skilled project manager, organized, and pay attention to detail;

  • Have experience in driving projects and collaborating on cross-functional teams.
