What You'll Do at Pega:

• Maintain a prioritized product backlog focused on Data Engineering enhancements, including tools for accessing and preparing data for Predictive Models and Decisions.

• Serve as a Product Owner within Pega’s agile Scrum process.

• Translate market needs, customer requests, and corporate goals into well-defined project requirements and functional product specifications.

• Identify industry trends related to Data Engineering, Predictive Analytics, Marketing, and enterprise application development.

• Contribute to the development and management of the Decision and Analytics business plan.

• Assist with product strategy, future direction, and current features and functions, engaging with customers, partners, industry analysts, and other organizational areas through speaking engagements, webinars, and customer visits.

• M.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

• 5-10 years of relevant experience in Product Management or Software Engineering roles, particularly in data engineering or data preparation.

• Extensive experience in defining, designing, and delivering Data Engineering, Analytics, Customer Data Platforms, or similar products.

• Familiarity with concepts in the distributed data processing domain.

• Knowledge of AWS, Kafka, and data engineering tools such as Apache Spark, Apache NiFi, SQL, Presto, Hive, or similar products used for data analysis and operationalization.

• Affinity for the design process and a willingness to engage in all activities related to design and user-facing components.

• Excellent client-facing interpersonal skills and outstanding oral and written communication skills.

• A strong desire to learn and develop in a fast-paced, collaborative, team-oriented, cross-functional environment.

• Ability to apply thought leadership and influence others effectively.
