Amazon Head of Ring.com EU & Intl, Ring in Amsterdam, Netherlands

Description

Ring is looking for a technical-capable and customer-centric ecommerce manager to lead the Ring.com EU & Intl business. This ecommerce manager will lead a team and have the end-to-end responsibilities in both technical and commercial areas to optimize Ring.com INTL’ long-term results including software quality, business requirements, customer experience. Technical responsibility including front-end web development, regional site architecture/product solutions. Commercial responsibility includes site merchandising, web analytics, and operations.

In this role, you will support Ring’s mission by providing best-in-class educational contents about Ring’s products and services as well as supporting topline sales goal with ecommerce platform for end-consumers and professional installers. In this role, you will work cross functionally including GTM, Category Planning, CRM, and Marketing— to drive sales and strategic initiative, as well as work with the US Ecommerce team to align strategic direction of Ring.com’s tech stack and key features.

Successful candidates must have technical understanding of ecommerce platform, thrive in a fast-paced and often ambiguous environment, and work well alongside highly collaborative and entrepreneurial colleagues in a startup environment.

Key job responsibilities

• End-to-end ownership of Ring.com Europe, Australia, and Japan and be the default escalation solver for the website.

• Drive site conversion and sales through feature enhancement, merchandising, and traffic optimization

• Lead web development team and provide technical advisory when needed

• Lead the sprint and project prioritization process

• Lead merchandising team to ensure all contents are accurately published including but not limited to product information, price, and marketing/PR initiatives.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience and mastery in Shopify Liquid template language

• 3+ years of experience and proficiency in SCSS and JavaScript

• 2+ years of experience with Jira software

• 2+ years of collaborating experience with cross-region engineering teams in a large org

• Direct experience with org-wide or large-scale e-commence architecture/platform project

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with headless CMS software (i.e. Contentful)

• Experience with leading a team

• Experience in the consumer electronics field

• Experience with web analytics tools (i.e. Heap, Adobe, Google analytics)
