Philips Graduate Development Program – Marketing & Project Management in Amsterdam, Netherlands

In our Trainee Program, you will not only develop deep marketing expertise but also actively shape strategies that improve people's lives. If you are passionate and visionary about diving into the marketing world and want to drive real change, then this is the right place for you!

In this position, you will work in the Personal Health DACH sector. Personal Health includes product areas such as Oral Healthcare (Philips Sonicare), Male Grooming (including OneBlade), Beauty (from Philips Lumea to hair dryers), and Mother and Childcare (Philips Avent).

You will go through two predefined rotations in marketing at our Hamburg location:

First rotation in Oral Healthcare Western Europe :

  • Support change and digital transformation : Assist in the transition to Salesforce as a central CRM system and develop creative solutions to implement new processes efficiently and successfully.

  • Lead project management : Take ownership of exciting projects in Oral Healthcare, from initial concept to implementation, while keeping the needs of our customers and partners in mind.

  • Bridge marketing and sales : Foster close collaboration between teams and create tailored strategies that drive market success and enhance customer satisfaction.

  • Optimize processes : Identify opportunities to improve sales and marketing processes, ensuring continuous efficiency.

Second rotation in Consumer Marketing :

  • Market representation and local implementation : Represent the strategic goals of the DACH market at the Western European level and ensure the European strategy is executed locally.

  • Marketing strategy and execution : Develop and implement tailored marketing strategies for the DACH market, based on consumer insights and market analysis.

  • Consumer insights : Support market research activities to gain deep consumer insights and use these to optimize the marketing strategy.

  • Collaboration and stakeholder management : Work closely with internal departments and external agencies, managing both local and international stakeholders.

  • Budget responsibility : Manage the budget for your product category, ensuring efficient resource allocation.

  • Adapting European strategies : Ensure the European strategy is effectively adapted to the DACH market.

As a GDP trainee you will receive a 2.5 years, full time employment contract with excellent labour conditions.

This job is perfect for you if :

  • You hold a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • You have gained some practical experience (e.g., through internships or student positions, ideally international) in Marketing and/or Project Management

  • You are highly proactive and self-motivated , with a strong focus on consumers and customers.

  • You are independent and have excellent communication skills .

  • You are team-oriented , with strong communication and persuasion skills (important for effective stakeholder management internally and externally).

  • You have a strong command of Excel and analytical tools (e.g., QlikSense) and bring strong analytical skills (experience with Advanced Analytics is a plus).

  • You are fluent in English .
