Job Purpose Serve as a global expert in job grading and organizational design, ensuring alignment, consistency, and effectiveness across Barilla’s people and organizational strategy. Support the business by advising on and implementing organizational design solutions, optimizing the global operating model, and designing processes that enhance organizational efficiency. Lead and manage critical change initiatives to ensure the successful delivery of Barilla’s current and future performance and strategy. Key Accountabilities

  • Job Grading: Act as a global Subject Matter Expert (SME) on job grading and the Barilla Job Framework. Execute job gradings and manage the relationship with external suppliers (if applicable), with the overall goal of ensuring alignment, consistency, and equity within the Barilla Job Framework.

  • Organization design: Be a trusted advisor and Subject Matter Expert to the business and HR leaders to identify and implement organization design solutions and advise on organizational development opportunities to optimize organizational effectiveness and the achievement of business strategies and objectives.

  • Operating model: Collaborate closely with business leaders to contribute to the evolution of the Global Operating Model. Analyze its effectiveness and adherence to organizational strategy, and provide alternative solutions as needed.

  • Process design: Work with business leaders, HR colleagues and IT teams to assess, design, document and implement processes that meet organizational needs and are feasible for implementation with the overall goal to improve Barilla’s effectiveness and efficiency.

  • Project and change management: Lead the planning, execution, and oversight of projects from initiation to completion by defining clear objectives, developing detailed plans, coordinating resources, managing risks, and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders. Ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, on budget, and are accepted within Barilla.

  • Methodology and tools: Support the continuous improvement of job grading and organizational design methodologies, processes, tools, and best practice research. Provide expertise and support for other initiatives through benchmarking, training, and workshops.

  • External trends: Stay abreast of job grading and organizational design trends by conducting research and benchmarking best practices. Actively participate in job grading and organizational design communities of practice and forums.

    Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Economics, Business Administration or other similar disciplines

  • At least 7-8 years of relevant experience in the HR field gained by working in international consultancy firms and/or large multinational companies with relevant accountabilities on Organization Design. Managing foreign countries / regions.

  • Fluency in English.

  • Strong Analytical Skills.

  • Practitioner (with a cutting-edge knowledge) of Organizational Development and Organizational Effectiveness methodologies and tools.

  • Consumer at the core – strong service orientation and empathy with clients, strong influencer.

  • Innovator – initiates new ideas and triggers change seeks new ways of doing things sources new knowledge both within and outside the organization.
