Veralto Process Engineer II - On-site - Ames, IA in Ames, Iowa

About the role:

The Process Engineer is responsible to provide for ownership of manufacturing processes. The position is also responsible for continuous improvements and technical support for the organization. The scope includes all activities from new product introductions to customer support.

This position is part of the Engineering department located in Ames, Iowa and will be on-site.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and implement technologies, methods and techniques.

  • Take ownership of manufacturing processes and standard work.

  • Create justification and requests for capital expenditures.

  • Provides direction for cross-functional resource teams.

  • Promote and Coordinate the implementation of process and continuous improvement.

Are you qualified?

  • Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent in related Engineering or Technology; or equivalent work experience.

  • A minimum of 1-3 years experience in related manufacturing process environment preferred.

  • Project management skills.

  • Mechanical aptitude.
