The Field Sales Service Growth Specialist is responsible for delivering the service contract revenue targets with challenging but achievable growth, acting as a subject matter expert. They will work with the Field Sales/Service teams to improve service attachment at the point of sale and deliver larger, long-term projects. Working with the Commercial Service team they will support contract renewal expansion and existing install base growth. This role is customer facing and will require a mix of field and office-based activities.
In this role, a typical day will look like:
Travelling to customer sites alongside Field Sales to secure additional service revenue, matching the service portfolio to the customer needs whilst also gathering market and competitor intelligence.
Working cross functionally to resolve escalated Customer issues.
Providing service portfolio training, for Field sales & others including support for internal & external seminars, lunch & learn sessions, and exhibitions.
Supporting tenders/bids as a solutions specialist for complex contract offers/ renewals and acting as the point of contact for legal service contract reviews.
Building and working with the service contract forecast, monitoring performance to target and taking action to close any gaps.
Working cross functionally with EU/NA and local teams implementing new systems and actively problem solving for process improvements.
Supporting, by phone/ e mail, the current install base /contract renewals requirements to deliver the overall service revenue targets, which includes but is not limited to, providing quotations, cross selling and up selling.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor Degree preferred or the equivalent in experience.
Sales experience selling service products and/or bespoke service solutions in a technical business to business environment. Able to handle technical questions relating to the service portfolio.
Evidence of building strong customer relationships, establishing trust and credibility through a consultative selling style.
Knowledge and experience working with Salesforce, Service Max or an equivalent CRM is a plus.
Willing to travel within UK & Ireland with some EU travel for training and business needs.
Strong communication, organisation and time management skills.
