MEDICAREMD.COM Buyer II in AMERICAN FORK, Utah

This position is located at our company headquarters in American Fork, Utah.

Job Summary We are seeking a Sr. Buyer to join our Procurement team to drive efficiency and cost-savings through contract negotiations. This role will assist with all indirect procurement projects, with an emphasis on purchasing (1) Software, (2) Professional Services, (3) Marketing, and (4) Cloud Services. This role reports to the Sr. Director of Procurement. The Procurement team is part of the Finance department and ultimately reports to the CFO.

What you will do * Analyze existing vendors and identify opportunities to reduce, consolidate, or eliminate vendor services and expenses. * Work directly with vendors to negotiate (1) new purchases, and (2) renewal purchases. * Assist department leaders to perform market research. * Solicit proposals from potential vendors using the RFX process. * Work with Legal, IT, Info Security, Finance, and Accounting to thoroughly evaluate vendors and ensure they pass company requirements. * Facilitate contract review, approval, and signature. Technologies You Will Use * Microsoft products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PPT, OneNote, Teams, OneDrive) * Smartsheet * ContractWorks * RingCentral * ERP systems Travel/Physical Demands * Travel typically less than 10%. * Office environment. No special physical demands required.
