Apollo MedFlight is seeking a dedicated Revenue and Compliance Specialist to join our dynamic team. At Apollo MedFlight, we are redefining the standards of air medical transportation. In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in driving our financial success and ensuring our compliance with industry regulations. Your expertise will help us continue our mission of delivering unparalleled patient care.

The Revenue and Compliance Specialist will work closely with Patient Financial Services, Revenue and Compliance Officer, and the Finance team, to ensure accurate revenue recognition, efficient billing processes and proactive revenue growth strategies. This role will also include compliance, and auditing in the Patient Financial Services team.

A Day in the Life:

  • Regularly conduct revenue analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Produce comprehensive reports and dashboards, clearly communicating revenue performance to management and auditors.
  • Collaborate with data analysts to develop forecasting models and revenue projections, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist in both external and internal audits related to revenue recognition, financial reporting, and compliance.
  • Will fill in open positions when deemed as vital functions for revenue cycle management.
  • Ensure the Patient Financial Services staff adheres to the CAMTS standards.
  • Assist with development and roll out of new billing software.

The background we are looking for:

  • Four years of Medical Billing and Coding
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Basic understanding of financial concepts
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, predominantly in Excel
  • Strong Attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong comprehension of Revenue Cycle process and accounting standards. (Preferred)
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting tools, such as Excel, and experience with financial software systems. (Preferred)
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, customers, and auditors. (Preferred)
  • Detail-oriented and analytical mindset, with a track record of identifying and addressing revenue-related issues. (Preferred)
