Cooke Power Services is seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Electrician to join our team in Amarillo, TX. As an Apprentice Electrician, you will work under the guidance of experienced electricians to gain hands-on experience and knowledge in the electrical trade. Key Responsibilities:

Assist journeyman and master electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems. Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams. Perform basic electrical tasks, such as running wire, installing conduit, and mounting electrical devices. Observe and follow safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Participate in training programs and classroom instruction as required for certification. Troubleshoot electrical problems and assist in making necessary repairs. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Support the setup and cleanup of job sites. Take on increasing levels of responsibility as skills develop.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Basic knowledge of electrical systems and components. Strong desire to learn and grow in the electrical trade. Ability to work well in a team and take direction from experienced electricians. Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Physically capable of performing manual labor, including lifting heavy materials and working in confined spaces. Reliable transportation and the ability to work in various locations around Amarillo. Commitment to safety and following industry standards and codes.
