The role you’ll contribute:
The Enterprise Applications Analyst Intermediate works independently and successfully engages simultaneously in multiple initiatives of moderate complexity. Is responsible for activities that may cover analysis, design, configuration, testing, implementation as well as application support, performing troubleshooting, and issue resolution. Utilizes expertise in application logic, providing technical guidance and oversight, and technical expertise. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

Application Ownership & Support
· Optimize, maintain, and support applications/systems as required. Provide on-call support. Troubleshoot and resolve complex production support issues. Lead escalation procedures as necessary.
· Perform configuration at the application level, coordinating with business and vendor partners.
· Work with appropriate teams and vendors on integrations and their support.
· Test configuration and workflow changes. Assist with development of test scripts. Perform unit, system, and integration testing per standards, and document outcome.
· Work with Senior Application analyst, Team Lead, and/or Supervisor to enhance application integration and performance and import/export needs.
· Work with the vendor on resolving application issues.
· Partner with vendor(s) for back-end application system administration.
· Partner with vendor(s) and technical services, if needed, for troubleshooting and resolving any performance or back-end issues.
· Gather requirements, obtain appropriate approvals, develop, and support customizations for a portfolio of applications.
· Participate in assessments, searches, implementations, and upgrades for thirdparty applications.
· Analyze operational requirements and system capabilities for supported applications to propose effective solutions.
· Develop system design, including functional specifications, and implement strategies based upon the analysis of specific operational needs.
· Analyze business and user needs and document business requirements, define benefits, and find solutions.
· Partner with business owners and vendor on features in new releases, roadmap for future functionality, product strategy, and business challenges/opportunities.
· Partner with the business in identifying the need for new applications, functional needs & requirements, product selection, and contracting.
· Follow change control processes ensuring change control is properly documented and approved.
· Participate in audits and implement audit recommendations.
· Partner with project management and business to implement new applications.
· Participate in application upgrade/release management in partnership with project management, business, technical services, and the vendor.
· Create and provide department documentation using appropriate templates for supported solutions. Provide customer training via recorded sessions, meetings, and documented guides for supported solutions.
· Provide Go- Live Support to include necessary travel to AdventHealth facilities within Florida or out of state if needed.
· Communicate application issues with vendor per vendor's reporting process. Ability to use own cell phone for texting and phone call communication. Able to respond to issues while on call within 30 minutes of being contacted.
· Collaborate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders within multiple venues.
· Identify data integrity issues and analyze data and process flows for process improvement opportunities.
· Perform data analyses using technical tools to extract requirements, identify data inaccuracies, and ensure accurate processing and reporting with minimal supervision.
· Partner with AIT and facility technology leaders and vendors on devices that connect to supported applications.
· Maintain an appropriate support model and levels for supported applications.
· Convert, archive, and sunset outdated systems.
· Implement supported applications for acquisitions and retire applications for divestitures.
· Partner with application security services to provision access and security on supported applications.
· Participate with Data Security in HiTrust and other data security initiatives.
· Participate in moderately complex application upgrade/release management in partnership with project management, business, technical services, and the vendor.
· Coordinate with AIT Analytics on any business intelligence initiatives involving supported applications.
· Work closely with Team Lead or Manager when researching, planning, building, and implementing approved projects. Partner with Team Lead or Manager to oversee the delivery of solutions and appropriately manage and escalate risks and issues.
· Take part in projects with minimal supervision to include the planning, design, execution, and on-going monitoring of activities to ensure successful completion and meeting of deadlines.
· Act as super user to application, train, and mentor new employees, and cross train team members.
· Utilize expertise in application logic, providing technical guidance and oversight. Act as a resource and technical expert with advanced level.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
· Knowledge of software development, business applications, implementation, and software systems development lifecycle
· Strong customer service skills
· Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
· Conceptual and practical understanding of various training techniques for users with various learning styles
· Advanced ability to manage multiple tasks within deadline constraints
· Ability to work with no supervision
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS PREFERRED:
· Experience with relational databases and data transfers
· Working knowledge of ITIL principles
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
· Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, IT, Computer Science, or related field OR 5 years’ experience supporting software applications in a healthcare environment
· Experience participating in moderate to complex projects
· Familiarity with scripting to improve application integration and performance
· Experience documenting workflow design and identifying areas for improvement
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
· Experience in IT working with applications in a healthcare environment
· Experience supporting Enterprise applications
