About Us: We are a leading healthcare organization committed to delivering exceptional care and providing comprehensive employee support. We are currently seeking a Benefits Specialist for a 2-month contract to assist our Human Resources team in managing employee benefits and ensuring smooth, efficient processes.

Job Overview: As a Benefits Specialist, you will play a crucial role in administering employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies. This contract position offers a hybrid work environment, allowing flexibility between remote and in-office work in our Orlando location.

salary: $20 - $25 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and process employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies

  • Assist employees with benefits enrollment, changes, and inquiries

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to benefits administration

  • Collaborate with insurance providers and third-party vendors to resolve employee issues

  • Support the HR team with benefits audits, data entry, and reporting

  • Communicate benefits updates and deadlines to employees

  • Assist in the development and improvement of benefits-related processes and documentation

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred

  • 1-3 years of experience in benefits administration or HR support

  • Knowledge of employee benefits programs and applicable regulations (e.g., FMLA, ACA, COBRA)

  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines

Work Environment:

  • Hybrid work schedule: combination of remote work and in-office days in Orlando, FL

  • Flexibility to accommodate both on-site and remote work needs
