We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Technical Business and Systems Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong and diverse technical background as well as an understanding of the lottery business and understands or can gain a quick understanding of the IT systems and solutions that support the various lottery implementations.

This role will be responsible for interfacing with various SMEs on technical teams and being the key interface to our centralized RFP team who are crafting comprehensive and compelling responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) related to lottery technology solutions. This individual will work closely with many various distributed technology teams to gather necessary information and create detailed and cohesive technical response to various RFPs. The proposal should effectively address client needs and requirements while following a central theme.

In this role, you will be reviewing and analyzing RFP documents to understand client requirements, evaluation criteria, and submission guidelines. While we have a central team that does much of the main content, this role will include content creation and will require high-quality written content for RFP responses, including executive summaries, technical solutions, implementation plans, and pricing strategies.

You will be the bridge between our various technical teams as well as the business side preparing the RFP response. You will collaborate with subject matter experts, sales teams, and other stakeholders to gather relevant information and ensure accuracy and completeness of proposals. You will customize proposal content to align with client needs and preferences, highlighting the unique value proposition of our lottery technology solutions.

Quality is critical so you will also provide reviews and edits to ensure proposals are well-written, cohesive, and align to the product being offered. You will also need to manage proposal timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure timely submission of high-quality proposals. Over time, you will be responsible to maintain a repository of proposal content, templates, and best practices for future reference and continuous improvement.

In addition to a strong technical background and a good understanding of systems, software development, databases, cloud technologies, messaging and other technical topics, what other experience is required?

• Lottery Experience - We ideally would like to find someone that is familiar with the various systems used to run the lottery in various states in the US.

• Good documentation experience and samples of documents you have written to explain how technical systems work ....some demonstrated expertise in software, infrastructure, public cloud, networking, terminals/kiosks, etc.

This is a 6–9-month contract to start and you can do this work 100% remotely from where you live in the US. We prefer someone that is working EST or CST hours as we typically are working EST hours. This contract engagement could go longer or could become a full-time role over time. Full benefits are available during the contract engagement.
