We have an entrepreneurial spirit that's brought us a lot of success and we're looking for a Supply Chain Planning Analyst to join the team in our Alpharetta offices.

The Supply Chain Planning Analyst is responsible for demand planning and leading the supply portion of the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process for each line of business. Manage the sales performance analytics and distribution performance across each line of business while partnering with the distribution planning group to achieve the desired service, inventory, and total delivered cost targets. Applying sound business judgment and facilitating robust cross-functional discussions to develop plans to be used by vendor, sourcing, distribution, and transportation functions as well as all lines of business (LOB's) for planning, execution, and financial management.

NOTE: HoneyBaked has a hybrid work schedule with three days in the office and two days working from home. We prefer candidates that are local to the Atlanta metro area, as there is no relocation assistance available for this role.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

  • Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, develop statistical inventory/supply planning models, and evaluate forecast results.

  • Develop and manage KPI and business analytics reporting requirements across each line of business.

  • Leverage Microsoft Power BI or similar reporting software for reporting and data analytic requirements (PowerBI experience preferred)

  • Interact with Retail and Franchise Operations, Product Development, Marketing, and Finance to understand demand forecast drivers across all Lines of Business (LOB's).

  • Monitor demand, schedule attainment, and established, on-hand inventory targets to help provide timely inventory replenishment plans and make necessary schedule changes across the food service distributor network.

  • Execute vendor purchase orders as needed and monitor plan attainment across all vendors.

  • Manage planning calls as required for each Line of Business.

  • Drive continuous improvement in the demand and supply planning process such as current process gap analysis, automation tool identification/implementation, and identification of main KPIs.

  • Deliver against annual Total Delivered Cost, inventory plans, and service level targets.

  • Improve plan performance by effectively analyzing sources of error and recommending appropriate corrective action plans.

  • Foster cross-functional discussion to improve the quality and interpretation of supply plans.

  • Lead supply chain product commercialization plan reviews inclusive of phase in/out strategies for promotional activities, new product introductions and product discontinuations.

  • Leverage the Supply Planning processes to develop Fiscal Year forecasts during the business planning cycles for all lines of business.

  • Coordinate efforts and direct communication when inventory levels are insufficient to cover demand due to finished goods or upstream raw material shortages.

  • Performs other duties as required by departmental and business requirements.

YOUR TRACK RECORD

Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business or related, with 4+ years of work experience within Demand Planning, Supply Planning, S&OP or similar roles. Experience using Advanced Planning software tools as well as experience using Microsoft Power BI preferred. Consumer packaged goods industry experience preferred.

WHAT ELSE TO KNOW?

Occasional travel required throughout the year up to 10% as needed to support key business initiatives. Occasional overtime work required primarily during the holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas & Easter)
