Your role at Clorox:
Clorox is on a transformation journey to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of its integrated business planning (IBP) processes with the objective of enhancing Clorox’s ability to provide a complete, unbiased, and objective understanding of how integrated planning actions impact BU financial health and the business as a whole.
As part of this transformation journey, Clorox is piloting its new, IBP capabilities within and is testing new processes, systems and operating structures to bring this new capability to life. We are looking for a dynamic leader who can help drive the enhancement of Clorox’s IBP capabilities and help build Clorox’s IBP capability for the future. This role will serve as a core part of the IBP team within the BU and be a lynchpin for project success.

In this role, you will:
Be in charge of demand forecast analysis activities by accomplishing the following:
Develop demand forecast for the Glad Business Unit (BU), incorporate General Manager (GM) and functional feedback as needed to arrive at an integrated and accurate plan.
Assess and pressure test key forecast drivers, seeking a deeper understanding of demand forecast driver attribution and their influence of the forecast, risks, and operations.
Identify key forecast tensions, tradeoffs, and decisions needed for discussion in Demand Scenario Lock Meeting and GM Alignment Meeting.
Be the single point of consolidation and articulation of full Glad Demand plan from different demand planning streams.
Additionally, you will be in charge of scenario coordination activities such as:
Drivescenario analysis, leveraging scenario manager tool, identifying impact of changing demand drivers (e.g. pricing, promo, marketing, and distribution) based on business acumen.
Analyze demand forecast impact of different risk and opportunity scenarios.
Support framing and strategy development against most likely impactful scenarios, in alignment with Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Lead / Mgr. and BU Leadership Team.
You will work cross-functionally will be a key responsibility in this role including:
Conduct proactive cross-functional outreach to understand forecast and key drivers, extract business insights, understand risks & opportunities, correctly incorporate overrides to lock DP scenario, and explain the output of the model to the business.
Review and validate inputs and, if needed, hold input owners accountable for delivery, collecting updates via standardized tools, templates, and processes.
Provide feedback to the IBP hub on tool functionality.
Actively foster and contribute to a community of like practitioners.
You will be part of the following people management activities:
Oversee demand planning forecast and scenario analysis in the BU, support team members and providing business guidance, framing support, and sense checks as needed.
Line manage commercial planning team (e.g. performance evaluations) and coach, develop, and train team members.
What we look for:
Forward-looking strategic thinking: Ability to synthesize disparate data into coherent, forward-looking business strategy and tactics for advancing business priorities, with mgmt. / LT support
Strong financial acumen
Strong data science / analytical skillset, including:In depth understanding how a forecast model works, strengths / pitfalls of the ML model and the core elements of the model predictively
Able to analyze and diagnose core forecast drivers and understand impact on forecast with Iris tools
Fluency and dexterity in working with data
Ability to recognize trends within data and translate that back into forecast narrative
Deep understanding of both customer operations, with capacity to understand, explain, and reconcile demand drivers and how they interact to drive the business
Strong foundation in supply chain network management and operations
Executive communication and presence
Ability to act fast paced environment, rapidly prioritize and adapt to change
Ability to network cross-functionally and influence without authority
Intellectual curiosity / tenacity including creative problem solving
Ability to lead and manage a team of direct reports up to 5 individuals
6-10 yrs industry experience, CPG / fast moving consumer preferred
Recent S&OP / demand planning experience
Deep experience in statistical modeling / predictive analytics
Experience interfacing and influencing across multiple functions
Preference: experience in a customer-facing role
Masters or equivalent in Engineering, Supply Chain, Data Science, Predictive Analytics, or equivalent experience required.
Workplace type:
Hybrid - Preference for Alpharetta, GA, Oakland, CA, or Pleasanton CA, - 3 days onsite at any of these offices.

Based on the breadth of our ranges, most new hires will start at Clorox in the first half of the applicable range. Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.
–Zone A: $106,700 - $204,900
–Zone B: $97,800 - $187,900
–Zone C: $88,900 - $170,800
