The RN Clinical Manager is responsible for the clinical operations of Michigan Masonic Home's Home for the Aged / Residential Services, in collaboration with the Director of Residential Services. This position is responsible and accountable for compliance with State and Federal regulations and requires a profound ability to collaborate with multiple departments to ensure efficient and high-quality services for all residents and staff.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

· Provides ongoing case management / nurse navigator services in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.

· Ensures that required nursing assessments and resident service plans are completed and up to date in compliance with regulatory requirements.

· In collaboration with the Director of Residential Services, ensures that the organization follows Home for the Aged regulatory standards.

· In collaboration with the Director of Residential Services, investigates incidents and completes incident reports as appropriate.

· Develops, implements, and evaluates policies and procedures.

· Monitors and evaluates medical record documentation to assure compliance with established standards and procedures in collaboration with the Director of Residential Services.

· Follows policies and procedures for reporting all suspected abuse, neglect, or exploitation of a resident.

· Ensures that all residents receive care in a manner and in an environment that maintains or enhances their quality of life and independence.

· Upholds and assures that staff abides by resident Service Plans, organizational policies/procedures, and Resident Bill of Rights

· Initiates and supervises programs that increase resident's ability to remain and function independently for as long as possible.

· Implements, coordinates and effectively manages point of service duties related to supplemental services and proper billing associated with, as well as admissions, transfers and notices to vacate.

· In collaboration with the Director of Residential Services, is responsible for managing staffing within budget. forms, reports, etc.,

· In collaboration with the Director of Residential Services, prepares and or oversees job performance appraisals of staff assigned following administrative review as appropriate and completes individual staff evaluations in time frames established by policy.

· The ability to employ great collaborative skills both internally across departments and externally between other providers of relevant services.

· The ability to develop and maintain an effective communication relationship with families and residents.

· Able to address issues and/or concerns of the resident's family members and ensure prompt resolutions for overall family satisfaction.

· The ability to exercise good judgment and work with minimal supervision is required.

· Ability to demonstrate critical thinking skills is required.

Requirements:

· A graduate of an accredited school of nursing and must possess and maintain a current, Registered Nurse (RN) license by the State of Michigan. Bachelor's degree in nursing or other related hea
