Technician - JR2415111

DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: As a Technician at the Allison Park R&D Center, you will support Protective Coatings and Formulation Sciences projects, working to guide advances in new electrocoat and pretreatment technologies. You will follow standard operating procedures and industry standards for formula mixing, sample preparation, and testing.

Key Responsibilities: * Precise measurement and mixing of formula ingredients as described by a formulation log * Preparation of test specimens for a variety of tests * Creating a collaborative and inclusive work environment * Upholding safety standards for the team * Documenting and reporting experimental details * Observation of experimental details and external factors * Independent execution on all aspects of an experiment with guidance from supervisor * Interpreting data and making recommendations for future work * Learns, understands, supports and conforms to company processes, and follows all EH&S and safety guidelines.

Qualifications: * Experience with coatings formulation * 0+ years of laboratory experience * High School diploma required
