Project: Roofing & Interior Remodeling

Location: Allerton, Iowa

Salary: $18 hr. starting wage (Weekly Pay)

Requirements: Construction experience (roofing or insulation preferred) No back ground or drug screening required

Job Description: We are looking for dedicated General Laborers to join our team for an interior remodel project followed by roofing work. This role involves removing and replacing fiberglass insulation at heights of up to 20 feet using a scissor lift, as well as participating in subsequent re-roofing tasks with sheet metal.

Key Responsibilities:

• Remove existing fiberglass insulation and install new insulation in the building.

• Operate a scissor lift safely to perform work at heights (up to 20 feet).

• Assist in the installation of sheet metal roofing after the interior remodel is complete.

• Carry out basic general labor duties as assigned by the site foreman.

• Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure efficient project execution.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Prior experience in the construction field is preferred.

• Must be comfortable working at heights (20 feet).

• Basic hand and power tools required; must have a tool pouch for carrying tools.

• Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively.

Work Environment:

• The team will consist of up to 8 laborers, with a strong focus on cultural fit and teamwork.

• Training will be provided on-site to ensure safety and efficiency.

• The interview process will involve the site foreman to assess cultural fit for the job.

Job Duration: The initial project of tearing out and replacing fiberglass insulation is expected to last approximately 3 months, followed by another 3 months focused on re-roofing with new sheet metal. (Multiple projects lined up once initial is finished)
