Job Description

Position Summary:

This position presents an outstanding chance to collaborate with internal and external customers on the application of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence techniques. Our goal is to improve the efficiency of clinical trial design and execution, ultimately benefiting patients across the globe.

To achieve this, the role will encompass the following activities:

  • Passion for data and making an impact on this world through clinical trials and the patients they serve!

  • Generating large databases from various sources of structured

  • Analyzing data and generating statistical information to identify trends

  • Understanding the phases of product delivery and guiding analyses across product life cycles, running the analysis for each stage and making decisions

  • Using a range of programming languages to transform big data into data sets

  • Translating technical data to simple language and giving recommendations to customers

  • Developing interactive dashboards that combine visuals with real-time data

  • Building scalable machine learning pipelines and using feature engineering and optimization methods to improve data set performance

Responsibilities:

  • Through the analysis of business processes, define requirements for innovation initiatives that deliver benefits that are mutually acceptable to the clients and the business.

  • Be the main contact for global improvement implementation and resolution of defects in decision support services.

  • Coordinate and perform all levels of testing and provide rollout support and post-project transition for invoicing solutions.

  • Conduct business due diligence on proposed initiatives to ensure the viability of proceeding; identify benefits and risks; propose recommendations and appropriate risk mitigation solutions for consideration.

  • Understand the operational processes, related technical architecture, and the flow of information through them. Identify challenges with our implementation of the proposed solutions and seek to mitigate them.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Experience in data visualization

  • Proficiency in developing algorithms and applying statistical and problem structuring methods

  • Ability to clean and validate data to ensure uniformity and accuracy

  • Ability to use linear and non-linear regression, logistic regression, models, and classification techniques for data analysis, clustering, dimensionality reduction, k-NN, and pipeline

  • Exposure to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) or healthcare industry experience (i.e., clinical) preferred

  • Demonstrable ability to plan and lead projects; able to effectively prioritize and deal with ambiguity

  • Demonstrable ability to effectively solve problems and provide solutions to internal or external issues

  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal relationship skills that promote collaboration and clarity across the organization as well as with customer teams

  • Collaborative style with a demonstrable ability to work within a matrixed environment and with external customers and to influence outcomes and motivate change, both internally and externally

  • Flexible with an ability to effectively work across time zones, in sophisticated projects, and in varied work locations

  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal direction; a bias for action and perseverance

  • Excellent presentation and social skills, both written and verbal

  • Travel (0-25%, includes global travel)
